Himalayan Salt Lab Test

One of Himalayan Salt's unique characteristics is its purity and abundance of trace minerals. Below is the Lab Test performed at Central Lab Chiang Mai on our Himalayan Pink Salt. We choose our Himalayan Salt supplier with great care, one who selects high quality salt rocks from the mines and - very importantly - rinses the salt rocks in filtered water 3 times and dries before grinding. Rinsing is essential to remove impurities: clay, stone, dirt, dynamite dust and other inedibles. Unfortunately, many suppliers in Pakistan take the cost-saving shortcut of neglecting to rinse the Himalayan Salt rocks, and instead simply grind up the clay, stone, dirt and dust with the salt. You may have noticed very low price Himalayan Salt being sold in Thailand, and I request you to be aware that this salt may be less than completely safe and clean for eating. Please assist me in educating your friends, families and community about the different qualities of Himalayan Salt, so that we may all ingest only foods which support our health and wellbeing.

In my next Blog Post, I will share a Full Spectrum Analysis of Himalayan Pink Salt, which details the quantity of each and every 84 trace mineral detected!
