Salt Myth #1: Eating some common table salt is good for you.
Fact: Your body recognizes common table salt as a toxin and works hard to flush it from your system. The less table salt you eat, the easier it is for your body to flush it and the less chance you'll come down with salt-related heath problems. But even in small amounts, table salt is not healthy, only tolerated.

Salt Myth #2: You should work to completely eliminate all salt from your diet.
Fact: Not only would this be just about impossible, but if you succeeded, it would also kill you. As a matter of fact, Myth #1 is partly true.
